The IBS Magic Surgical Kit

A Uniquely Innovative North American Kit

WHY THE NORTH AMERICAN KIT IS DIFFERENT

InnoBioSurg serves markets around the globe and produces instrumentation kits designed for the global market. Most of the international dentists prefer stainless steel kits. In January 2016 when we began providing the stainless kits to the U.S. we discovered a strong preference for plastic kits.

The proprietary instruments used in the Magic Implant Series are so unique in the way they empower the implant dentists we thought they were worthy of an equally innovative instrument kit.

We decided to completely re-design the kit layout.   In January we held informal focus groups and got input from clinicians, staff, implant consultants, trainers, and a full range of dental professionals.

In February we designed the new kit.

In March 2016 the new kits were delivered in time for our hands-on training course.

We love this story because it illustrates our speed and agility in manufacturing and it speaks to our commitment to respond to our dentists requests.

With this first version of the new USA surgical kit we incorporated our surgical placement protocols into the layout.

  • Step 1- Location,
  • Step 2- Angle & Depth,
  • Step 3- Widen the site,
  • Step 4- Place the implant,
  • Step 5- Cover and restore.

While we are very proud of the accomplishment and design, we stamped the design U.S. Version 1.0 because we fully expect to release an improved version as 2.0 based upon more experience and feedback from our customers.

While most of our innovations come from rigorously re-examining the status quo and questioning the why and how of all aspects of implant dentistry, some innovations come from just listening to the often ignored practitioners.
